Volunteering is a great way to give back to our community and to gain some unique work experience.  Please contact me if you would like to get involved in helping your community as a volunteer in my office, or for other worthwhile activities.
 
Are you a student? Did you know you must complete 40 hours of volunteer work to graduate?
 
Students entering grade 9 must complete 40 hours of volunteer work as one of the ministry requirements for their high school diploma. The aim is to encourage students to become actively involved in making positive contributions to their community.  Councillor Michael Thompson has many student volunteer opportunities.
